Model Kit Description
The model will build a 4mm to the foot scale model of Rhymney Railway 8 &10 ton covered goods van.
Summary History
A number of these vans were built for the Rhymney Railway from around 1902 to 1912 by Harrison & Camm and others. A very similar design was seen on the Cardiff Railway Co. built by Gloucester Carriage & Wagon Co.
The kit comprises an etched brass chassis and running gear, 3D printed sides, ends and springs. The 3D printed sides can be super-glued together and are retained using M2 self tapping screws. Full paper illustrated instruction included.
Pinpoint bearings and 3 link couplings are included. You will require wheels, paint and lettering to complete.
